C-130

The Lockheed Martin C-130 Depot Level Maintenance Dock was designed with input from a team of maintenance technicians and Boeing tech reps located at Robins AFB, GA. The unique design highlights the platform as attached to the hangar floor, a fixed maintenance dock allowing uninterrupted flow to maintenance access points increasing worker efficiency by more than 25%. This dock provides full worker fall protection, LED lighting, electrical power, compressed air and a very innovative air conditioning/ventilation system to enhance worker safety and comfort. Initial contract award includes design, engineering, manufacturing & installation of eight aircraft maintenance docks with an option to add four additional, contract period is from 2019 to 2022.

OSHA COMPLIANT: CvI Depot Level Maintenance Docks are constructed from medium weight, high-strength structural grade 6061 aluminum and painted steel frames. All surface decks are self-draining and coated with an anti-slip surface. All welded designs are in accordance with AWS D1.1 & D1.2. Each design features load ratings. Drawings and designs are approved by in-house Certified Professional Engineers (PE).
